Robbers Attack Aetherstone Money Truck In Transit
Gunshots sprang out from Aetherstone Square yesterday, followed by an explosion that shook the whole Ward.
It was reported an ASF cruiser escorting a cargo truck exploded from the ambush. Officers Suto Jun and Bronte Basinger were instantly killed on scene. This is what Officer Johnson, who was a first responder on scene, had to say:
"At approximately 2300 hours a truck delivering to the Sendai Bank was hit by two unknown terrorists with explosives in the plaza. They ambushed the vehicle and Officer TED was the first to arrive on the scene, and the only one left standing when I had arrived. Officers Bronte Basinger and Suto Jun were unfortunately killed in the line of duty. Upon seeing the suspects not compliant and armed, I utilized lethal force on one of the suspects who had fired upon TED. After that threat was neutralized and subdued, the accomplice then tried to make away in the alleyways between the apartments and shops only to succumb to his wounds after I shot his leg, hoping to just incapacitate the suspect instead of killing him. The stolen goods were recovered and the truck repaired, heading back to its mentioned destination. I expect to make a full recovery soon, thanks to the help of Aetherstone's ™ Autodocs from the hospital. TED has sustained minimal injuries and will continue to remain in service."
